Friends of August Derleth is a nonprofit literary society incorporated in the State of Colorado and recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to preserve and promote the literary legacy of August Derleth. Contributions to Friends of August Derleth may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
3. Membership
Membership in Friends of August Derleth is offered on an annual basis. By purchasing a membership, you agree to the following:
Membership does not confer ownership interest or voting rights unless otherwise provided in the organization’s bylaws.
Membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
Membership is personal and non-transferable.
Membership benefits are subject to change at the discretion of the organization.
4. Purchases and Payments
All purchases made through this website are processed securely through Stripe. Friends of August Derleth does not store credit card or payment information on its servers.
Books offered through this website are fulfilled by Amazon. Pricing, availability, and fulfillment of book orders are subject to Amazon’s terms and conditions. Friends of August Derleth is not responsible for shipping delays, fulfillment issues, or returns related to Amazon orders.
5. Refund Policy
Membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed. For book purchases fulfilled through Amazon, returns and refunds are handled in accordance with Amazon’s return policy. For questions regarding a purchase, please contact us at president@friendsofaugustderleth.org.
